On one of the lowest days in the last 15 years of Leeds United, this guy stood up and was counted. One of my all time football heroes.

When his knee fell to bits in the last game of his contact, in the midst of promotion. I can't remember ever feeling as bad for a footballer.

Club slogan "side before self, every time" is mostly an empty phrase. But, once in a while, somebody follows through on it.

I'm so happy we have rewarded him for his loyalty and his strength

And aside from everything else. What a wonderful collection of red cards.

The drop kick in his first match and the headbutt, not a footballers headbutt, but an actual nose breaker. Will never forget these moments. 🤣
